Privacy Policy
Wacky Zoo needs no account and no personal details. Without a wallet, everything stays on your phone. With a wallet, we store your public wallet address, your zoo (cloud save) and your purchases.
1. What we never collect
- Your name, email address or phone number
- Passwords, private keys or seed phrases — signing happens inside your wallet app
- Your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone
- Advertising identifiers. There are no ads, no analytics SDK and no third-party tracking
2. Stored only on your phone
Your zoo (animals, eggs, coins, items, quests, settings), your acceptance of these documents, and a record of payments already delivered so none is delivered twice. Uninstalling the game removes it.
3. Sent to our server — only if you connect a wallet
- Sign-in: your public wallet address and a one-time signed text message that proves the address is yours. The message is used once and discarded.
- Cloud save: a copy of your zoo (the same game data as section 2), linked to your wallet address, so you can restore it on another device.
- Purchases: the transaction signature, your wallet address, the item and the amount. These are public on the Solana blockchain anyway; we keep them to deliver and restore what you bought.
4. The blockchain is public
Payments you make are recorded permanently on the public Solana blockchain, including your wallet address, the amount and a short note naming the item. Nobody — including us — can change or delete them. To read the blockchain the game uses a Solana RPC provider (Helius) through our server.
5. Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR)
- Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of the contract: sign-in, cloud save, delivering and restoring purchases.
- Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation: keeping payment records as long as tax law requires.
- Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest: preventing abuse (for example, a payment being redeemed twice).
6. Retention
- Cloud save: until you ask us to delete it.
- Purchase records: for the period required by tax law (up to 10 years), then deleted.
- Sign-in messages: single use; expired ones are discarded.
- IP addresses: processed briefly by our hosting provider to deliver requests and stop abuse; not stored with your data.
7. Service providers and transfers
- Netlify (United States): website, server functions and database.
- Helius (United States): reading the Solana blockchain.
- Your wallet app and the Solana network: payments you sign.
Transfers to the United States rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR Chapter V).
8. Your rights
You may access (Art. 15), correct (Art. 16), erase (Art. 17), restrict (Art. 18), port (Art. 20) and object to (Art. 21) the processing of your data. To delete your cloud save, email us from or naming the wallet address. Blockchain records cannot be erased by anyone.
9. Children
Wacky Zoo is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly process data of children.
10. Security
Every request to our server uses HTTPS. Sign-ins are checked against your wallet's cryptographic signature, and every payment is verified on the blockchain before it is recorded.
11. Supervisory authority
You may complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
12. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, the game asks you to accept the new version.
